Charotar Moti Sattavis Leuva Patidar Samaj:
To achieve competitive edge and maintain harmonious social fabric, members of Charotar Patidar Samaj incorporated a parent institution – “Charotar Moti Sattavis Leuva Patidar Samaj” on 4th June-1985. At the moment across 66 villages (as a unit) in the country and 9 urban units both at home and abroad have 25,000 families in the community.
A hostel was built by the Samaj way back in 1956. In the university township of Vallabh Vidyanagar to provide hostel accommodation to the students of the community. In a short period of 2 years the hostel building was expanded on the first floor, as the response of both the parents and students was encouraging. The hostel provides all the basic amenity and has a decent canteen. The central office of the Samaj also operates its day-to-day activities from here.
In 1994-95, on the occasion of centenary year celebration of the parent institution a need for greater contribution and proactive approach was felt. On 9th April, 1994 “Shree Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal” was incorporated by passing a resolution in governing body. It is registered under A/2568; Kheda, dated : 21-4-1994.
On this occasion a noble gesture from Anand Municipal Corporation of providing 38 Guntha of land on lease for various academic activities motivated all to make inroads in education.
Today, on this land a modern academic complex with the investment of Rs. 3 crores is flourshing. It houses :
(1) D. Z. Patel (Ramol/London) Higher Secondary School
(2) Jashkamal (Milcent) Vocational Training Center
Both the sections were inaugurated on 14th February 1998 by Respected Swami Shri Sachchidanandji of Dantali and Respected Shri K. K. Shastri respectively.
Impressed with this humble beginning Swami Shri Sachchidanandji donated Rs. 51,001/- with his blessings and good wishes.
